A plantation drive was held by Pulwama Police at DPL Pulwama today on 24/03/2018 and around 300 saplings of different varieties were planted at various establishments of DPL Pulwama.

The dignitaries present on the occasion were SSP Pulwama Shri Mohd. Aslam (KPS), ASP Pulwama Shri Chandan Kohli (IPS), DFO Pulwama/Shopian Shri Manzoor Ahmad, DYSP DAR DPL Shri Devinder Singh and other officers. Police on the occasion said that presently we are facing great threat of global warming which is very detrimental to our future.

The plantation drive is an initiative to face such natural challenges. Pulwama Police appealed the public in general that they should plant more and more trees around their houses and all other suitable places so that the pristine and pure natural environment is maintained.
